Vitamin Sea
Our school, Mill Strand, is named after a Causeway Coast beach that we regularly visit. One of our P5’s likened going to the beach, and being near water, to being ‘like a gentle hug for my mind’💕.
We used the black card because we all have days when we have ‘grumpy, sad feelings and worries’, the colourful sail represents when our mind and body is feeling good, when the black sails have floated away.
Each P5 child has written a short piece about how the water gives them a dose of vitamin sea. We hope you enjoy our art and book of thoughts.
